The homestead, formerly the main farmhouse, was renovated earlier this year and is the perfect getaway for larger families, or groups – truly a home from home! It has a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, with a dishwasher and tumble-dryer in the adjoining pantry; the dining room with its long table lends itself to leisurely family meals. The dining room leads into the main living room with a games area. The second, smaller lounge has a fireplace and sliding-doors which open onto a large semi-shaded stoep with built-in braai, long table and rustic seating around an open fire-pit. There are also a sauna and a hammock on the stoep. After the latest renovations we now have 3 bathrooms (2 with toilet, wash basin & shower each and one with a bath) and 6 bedrooms (main with double bed, 4 with twin beds and one single room).
